Art & Technology

This term we have been busy planning to exhibit some of our recent student work in the Warrandyte Donvale Rotary annual Art Show. This unique opportunity allows us to exhibit with some of Warrandyte's finest artists and their works. Rotary are not only including our young artists so they have a new experience, but have also kindly donated recycled frames for our student work. 

We encourage you to come along to this event. It will also serve as a fundraiser for the McGrath Foundation. It's on tonight from 7:00 - 9:00 pm and we would love to see you there!  Please see the flyer below. 

Our Year 12 VCE Art Creative Practice students are in the thick of exploring and experimenting with their themes and ideas in their selected art forms. This exploratory phase is always really exciting as students are encouraged to push their thinking and ideas, materials and techniques into zones they have not previously ventured into. 

 Our Year  7's are having fun in Wood classes by developing practical numeracy skills through  learning how to measure and cut to construct their toy trucks. Meanwhile Year 8 students are developing and enhancing their IT skills in Digi Tech.

Year 9/10  STEM elective students have been working together in small groups to creatively problem solve their marble runs. Their teamwork is amazing!
