Our Year 10 Peer Support Leaders facilitate or support activities twice a term during the Year 7 WELL classes. This term our Peer Support Leaders have facilitated a get to know you session prior to camp and assisted with the joint Year 7 and 8 Clean up Australia activity around the school.
It has been great to see our students taking up Breakfast Club on Wednesday mornings during Term 1. Our school is able to offer snack options and fresh fruit during the week as well. We are fortunate to be able to take up this opportunity.
During Term 2, Breakfast will be changing days to Thursday mornings to allow more students to access this program. Breakfast will resume around week 5 however, students will still be able to access fresh fruit, snacks and lunch options from Reception, Student Services Office, and Learning Support when school returns.
During Term 1, the Wellbeing Sub Committee was formed by a small group of Student Voice Council leaders. As part of this portfolio, the committee has organised, facilitated and provided all students and staff the option to purchase pizza on a Tuesday at lunchtime. This idea came as a possibility due to no current canteen services. To date this has been a successful venture and has assisted the committee to raise funds towards school improvement initiatives identified by students. Many thanks to Isla, Darcy, Ellie, Greta, Josie and Elsie for all their hard work and commitment during their lunchtime on Tuesdays.
Nillumbik Youth Services are hosting school holiday activities during April. See the flyer for details and to register your interest.

Dear students and families,
Neurodiversity Celebration Week is approaching, from Mar 16th to 22nd.
The term ‘neurodiversity’ describes the unique ways that people process information. It is an umbrella term used to describe alternative thinking styles such as Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia, Autism and ADHD. Instead of labelling people, when we use the term neurodiversity, we take a balanced view of an individual’s unique strengths and challenges.
Knox City Council, Maroondah City Council, City of Boroondara and Yarra Ranges Council are hosting some FREE neurodiversity webinars for families and students:
25 Mar 2026 7pm to 8.30pm: Learning to learn
1 Apr 2025 7pm to 8.30pm: Understanding ADHD in girls and young women
For more information and support, please see the Wellbeing Team.
Let’s celebrate the different ways we think, learn and experience the world! 💛
