Student Voice Council Sparks School Spirit with Pizza Tuesdays and Upcoming Free Dress Fundraiser

Student Voice Council Celebrates Wins with Pizza Tuesdays: A Big Hit among students

The Student Voice Council (SVC) has announced a string of successes this term, led by the wildly popular Pizza Tuesdays. What began as a small fundraising effort has turned into one of the most anticipated weekly events on campus. Students report high participation, positive social time during lunch, and strong support for the SVC’s goals to build community while raising funds for school initiatives.

Looking Ahead: Free Dress Day and Sausage Sizzle

Building on this momentum, the SVC has planned a major Term 2 event: a Free Dress Day with a sausage sizzle and fun, footy-themed activities. The day will feature:

  • Sausage sizzle for lunch
  • Footy-themed games and small competitions during lunch and break periods
  • Proceeds from the event will support upcoming SVC projects and campus improvements identified by students.

Pre-Attitudes to School Survey (AtoSS) Completed Successfully

The SVC also reports that Pre-AtoSS surveys went smoothly. These surveys collected student feedback on event preferences, accessibility needs, and suggestions for future programming. Preliminary results will guide improvements in the school.

What’s Next from the SVC

More initiatives led by the SVC Team are in development; stay tuned!
