The energy and pride surrounding our new House System at Sandringham College is building fast, with students from Years 7–12 now proudly representing their Houses: Coppersmith (Green), Hollands (Yellow), Car (Blue), and Williamson (Red).
The House system is more than just colours and competition—it's about creating a greater sense of belonging, pride, connection, and school culture.
In 2025, this structure is being embedded into the life of the College, with a full calendar of events, as well as leadership opportunities for students across all year levels.
Each House is supported and led by a dedicated team of Student House Leaders who are responsible for promoting House culture, rallying participation, and running key events. These students have been busy preparing for our first official House Meetings, where they’ll lead their peers through a presentation, build excitement for upcoming events, and help shape the identity of their House.
Their leadership is already helping build momentum and visibility around the new system, with their voice and energy helping to drive positive change across the school.
After a strong start to the year with participation from our 3v3 Basketball Competition points rolling in, the standings are as follows:
🥇 1st – 🟩 Coppersmith: 95 points
🥈 2nd – 🟨 Hollands: 60 points
🥉 3rd – 🟦 Car: 50 points
🏅 4th – 🟥Williamson: 45 points
With plenty more events to come, these numbers could shift quickly—and every student contribution counts.
There’s a big term ahead for our House teams, with a mix of competitive, creative, and community-based events on the calendar:
Students are encouraged to get involved wherever they can—every point and every voice matters.
We’re so excited to see this new tradition take shape, and we thank all the staff and students who are getting behind the House system. Let’s continue to show up, participate, support one another, and make Sandringham College a place where House pride and student voice thrive.
Together We Belong.
