Student Leadership Update: Driving Change from the Inside

This term, our Student Leadership team has been meeting regularly to plan, share ideas, and discuss ways to make Sandringham College an even better place to learn and connect. These meetings are proudly student-led, with our School Captain team facilitating the sessions and ensuring every voice has a chance to be heard.

One of our key focuses this term is preparing for the upcoming ATOSS — the Attitudes to School Survey. This is an annual survey that gives students the chance to share how they feel about school life, teaching and learning, their sense of inclusion, safety, and voice. It's a powerful tool that helps shape improvements across the college, and our student leaders have been working behind the scenes to make sure it feels meaningful and relevant for everyone.

We’re incredibly proud of the leadership, initiative, and collaboration shown by our students so far. As we move closer to the ATOSS launch, we hope every student takes the time to complete the survey thoughtfully — not just for themselves, but to help create a better school experience for future students too.
