On Friday, 2nd May, our Year 10 students attended the VCE and Careers Expo at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. It was a fantastic opportunity for our students to explore various career pathways, engage with industry professionals, and gain insights into potential future careers.
Looking ahead, our Year 10 students are preparing for their upcoming work experience program, scheduled from Monday, 16th June to Friday, 20th June. This is an exciting opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in their areas of interest, develop workplace skills, and build professional networks. There is much to organise, and we encourage students to approach this experience with enthusiasm and a proactive attitude.
Our Year 9 students recently completed the first round of Morrisby interviews. These one-on-one sessions allowed students to discuss their Morrisby Profiling results with a trained careers consultant, helping them understand their strengths, interests, and potential career pathways. The second round of interviews will commence soon, and the required students will be contacted directly.
Career classes will begin in Semester 2.
