It’s been an exciting and immersive year for our students, filled with incredible outdoor experiences. We started by swimming with seals and dolphins at Sorrento, gaining first-hand insights into marine environments. Students also had the opportunity to work with Life Saving Victoria at Hampton Beach, completing valuable learning sessions focused on water safety and coastal ecosystems.
Our Year 12s ventured to the Grampians, where they explored the economic and recreational impacts on outdoor environments, while also deepening their understanding of Indigenous connections to Country. Meanwhile, our Year 9s travelled to Wilsons Promontory, where they embraced a variety of experiences, including surfing, stand-up paddleboarding, and hiking around the area.
These opportunities have allowed students to engage with different landscapes, develop new skills, and deepen their appreciation for the natural world. We look forward to more adventures ahead!
Our Gym Club is open to all students at the Holloway campus, offering access to weights and exercise equipment. We meet on Wednesdays during lunchtime and after school on Thursdays.
To get involved, please see Mr. Kanard for a gym usage contract. Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity to stay fit and have fun! 🏋️🏃
A reminder to all students that the High Performance Centre is available for Holloway students to use at lunch time!
Please remember that school shoes are not allowed on the courts, so bring along your sneakers.
To continue keeping our students active at recess and lunch, equipment is available to be borrowed from Year Level Leaders' offices at both campuses and the Holloway HPE staffroom.
