Assistant Principal's Report

Julia Bay

It has been a wonderful start to Term 3 with lots of celebrations happening around the school. On Friday 25th July our Prep students celebrated their 100 days of school with finger buns and a visit from Bluey! We are very proud of how our Prep students have started their school experience, they have settled so well into our structured learning environment and are following our school wide positive behaviours to make sure everyone is happy and learning. See more about this special day on the Prep page.

Another highlight this term was welcoming our grandparents and special visitors to our classrooms and whole school assembly. It was lovely seeing students working and sharing stories with our visitors and then celebrating altogether with our Preps performing 'Skidamarink'.

We had a chance to celebrate our award winning Village OSHC Team of the Year with an afternoon tea to show our appreciation of their great work. Have a look here -  Shine Awards - we are so lucky to have such a great team looking after our students before and after school.

As the rollout of our new house names continues, we have had house signs and banners installed in our gym and Junior School building. If you haven't seen then yet, make sure you have a look the next time you are at school.

I look forward to a great second half of Term 3 together.
