District Athletics Team 2023
This year we had a strong team of 70 students representing BNPS at the District Aths carnival. We had a beautiful sunny day and some very excited students to do their best and get started in their events.
We did well all day with many 1sts, 2nds and 3rd ribbons and it was neck and neck with Hampton. It came down to the relay events which are worth double points and Hampton managed to win quite a few races giving them the outright lead.
Second place is also an excellent result, and we go away proud of all our students. We will get the trophy back next year!!
Special thanks to Ms Holt and Mrs Holmes who worked hard on the rake and broom to run the girls Triple Jump all day and left with big smiles😊
Mr Farmer also ran the team whilst I was the finish line marshal.
Mr Ross popped down to support the team too.
Of our 70 students we have 17 who have progressed to the Division event on Friday 6 October, and we wish all the following students the best of luck from everyone in our BNPS community.

Beaumaris Sharks
The Beaumaris Sharks U11 Div 2 team won their grand final yesterday and finished top of the ladder. Another highlight was that Ryder was awarded Best on Ground. Given his toe mishap four months ago it shows just how resilient he is.
I think 20 of the boys in the team are in Grade 5 at Beauy North and a bunch of the dads are the coach’s, runners, trainers etc. It was a nice Father’s Day present for them yesterday.
