English Department Report 

Reaching the end of the year is always an exciting time for our school and students. It also provides a wonderful opportunity to reflect upon the year that was, the trials, successes, challenges, and overcoming of that has been. From all of us in the English team, I want to congratulate and thank our students for their continued efforts across the year. I also want to thank the parents and guardians who have supported us and our students as we explore the rich world of language together. 

As the final weeks continue, our 7, 8, and 9 classes have moved into their final pieces of work, primarily focused on poetry, both analysing and breaking down how it works, as well as creating their own. Make sure you reach out to hear what your child has been writing, as there is a lot of effort and talent being showcased.
