Junior School  Report

Jocelyn Gepp

As we wrap up another busy and successful term in the Junior School, we want to congratulate all students on their hard work, positive attitude, and dedication throughout the year. It has been wonderful to see so many achievements, events, and celebrations take place, and we are incredibly proud of how our students have continued to grow both academically and personally.

Activities Week – Final Reminders

Preparation for Activities Week is now well underway. All events are now closed for payment and consent, and no additional students can be added. This is to ensure that we can finalise numbers, confirm bookings, and maintain the required staffing and safety ratios for each activity.

Families are reminded to ensure students come prepared with appropriate clothing, lunch requirements, and any items listed on their event information on Compass.

Thank you for your support in helping us organise a smooth and enjoyable Activities Week!

Year 9 → 10 Step Up Program

We are excited to launch our first Year 9 into Year 10 Step Up Program, running from Wednesday 10th December to Friday 12th December. This program has been developed to support students as they prepare to transition into the Senior School.

What is our Year 9 → 10 Step Up Program?

Over the three days, Year 9 students will engage in a range of workshops, activities, and sessions designed to prepare them for the expectations and opportunities of senior schooling.

Purpose of the Program

The Step Up Program aims to:

  • Engage students in activities that build practical skills

  • Develop personal awareness

  • Increase confidence going into Year 10

  • Build an understanding of the expectations and opportunities within the Senior School

  • Offer opportunities to foster relationships with Senior School staff and peers

This is an important time for our Year 9 students to reflect on their journey in the Junior School and begin looking ahead with readiness and confidence.

Expectations of Students

All usual school expectations apply. Students are encouraged to show our school values:

  • Respect

  • Determination

  • Excellence

We encourage all students to get involved, support their peers, try new things, and celebrate their final days as Junior School students.

Important Reminders for Year 9 Families
