VCE & VCE VM Report

Claire Blower

As we come to the end of another busy and rewarding year in the senior school, I would like to take a moment to acknowledge the dedication and hard work shown by all of our VCE and VCE VM students.

Our VCE cohort demonstrated outstanding perseverance throughout the year, particularly during the recent exam period. Whether completing VCAA examinations or final internal assessments, students showed maturity, commitment, and a strong focus on their goals. Their determination has been evident in the way they prepared, revised, and supported one another, and we are extremely proud of what they have achieved.

Our VCE VM students have also finished the year with effort and enthusiasm, working steadily to complete their final outcomes, projects, and workplace-related tasks. Their applied learning approach has continued to showcase the strength of hands-on, real-world learning, and I congratulate them on the pride and persistence they have shown across their final assessments.

As we look ahead to 2025, I would like to remind students and families of the information recently posted on Compass regarding Special Provisions. These supports are available to ensure all students are able to demonstrate their learning fairly and equitably in both VCE and VCE VM programs. I encourage families to review the Compass post carefully and to reach out if they have any questions or believe their child may require assistance.

I would also like to highlight the use of EDROLO as a key learning tool for our senior VCE students. We are aware that some families have experienced issues accessing or using the platform, and we are currently working with EDROLO to resolve these concerns. If students require further support over the break, they are welcome to contact EDROLO directly or get in touch with me — I will do my best to assist wherever possible.
