Surf Trip

During Week 7, the Year 9 PASS classes travelled to South Durras Beach at Murramarang Resort for their annual Surf Trip. Despite some windy weather making tent assembly a challenge, conditions soon improved, and everyone was comfortably set up.

Students took part in a range of activities, including surfing and stand-up paddleboarding on both the beach and the river. They also enjoyed surf lifesaving rescue drills, beach sprints, volleyball, trivia, and Minute to Win It competitions. A few curious kangaroos even managed to sneak into a tent, adding some extra excitement to the experience!

Our students showed wonderful resilience throughout the camp and approached every challenge with enthusiasm and positivity. They are to be congratulated on their organisation, effort, and the way they supported and encouraged one another.
