RVR Mini Golfing Challenge
Congratulations to Year 8 STEAM students who showed remarkable precision with carefully planned coding, scaled obstacle designs, a well developed website and media presence, as well as 3D printed golf holes, in the RVR Mini Golfing Challenge. The teams of engineers, marketing managers and coders joined together to produce an incredible mini golfing experience which was judged by staff, Mater Dei Primary School and Sacred Heart Primary School Year 5 and 6 students and Year 9 and 10 students from the College.
Congratulations to the following teams who were voted as the overall winners of the challenge. Both teams showed consistent effort and application throughout term three both in their roles and groups.

Solar Cars
Year 8 STEAM students drew inspiration from the Bridgestone Solar Car race from Darwin to Adelaide and built their own scale model solar car to race in the Mater Dei STEAM Solar Car Race. Students are learne about solar energy, sustainability, their global footprint and circuits throughout this unit.
