Mock Trials

Mock Trial Teams Secure Double Victory
On Wednesday, 20 May, our two Mock Trial teams once again entered the Supreme Court to test their legal knowledge and advocacy skills in a criminal trial. The case involved the alleged offender, Al Capone, who was charged with the unlawful removal of Guano from his vehicle.
In a challenging case for the prosecution, our Year 10 team left no stone unturned in their pursuit of justice under a particularly unusual Western Australian law. Our Year 11/12 team successfully mounted a strong defence, ensuring that Mr Capone avoided a significant prison sentence.
Both teams presented their cases with confidence and skill, and each was ultimately awarded victory following forfeits from their opposing schools.
Thank you to Mrs Tonon and Mr Fryer for their support and guidance throughout the case.
