Semester 1 Concert

The Semester 1 Music Concert provided a wonderful opportunity for students to showcase the skills, dedication and confidence they have developed throughout the first half of the year.

The evening featured an impressive variety of performances, including soloists, duos, small ensembles and full band performances. Students took to the stage with confidence, demonstrating both technical skill and musical expression across a diverse repertoire of classical favourites and contemporary works.

Audience members were treated to performances from talented musicians playing a range of instruments, including saxophone, flute, trumpet, clarinet and various brass instruments. From powerful ensemble pieces to intimate solo performances, each student contributed to an entertaining and memorable evening of music.

The concert highlighted not only the musical growth of our students but also their commitment to regular practice, rehearsal and collaboration. Ensemble performances showcased students’ ability to work together, listen to one another and perform as a cohesive group, while solo and duo performances demonstrated courage and individual musicianship.

Congratulations to all students who performed, as well as the music staff who supported them throughout their preparation. The Semester 1 Music Concert was a fantastic celebration of talent, hard work and the thriving music culture within our school community.
