Badminton Rounds

Congratulations to our Year 7 badminton team who took out the Southern Metropolitan Sports Region title in the Kingston division! 

On the 28th May, our boys and girls senior badminton team headed out to Monash University for the annual Kingston Badminton Rounds. After a hard day of high quality badminton, our girls team came 2nd – narrowly losing to McKinnon – and our boys team came 3rd after McKinnon and Westall, both powerhouse schools in our division.

We ran into many obstacles, both physical and emotional, but we got through it all with some strong play and determination. While we couldn’t manage to topple McKinnon this year, I have high hopes for a future where Brighton will come out on top!
