A big thank you to all the families that filled out our Arts Festival feedback form! There was an overwhelmingly positive response, lots of lovely comments and also some very constructive ideas about how keep improving school events for everyone. 

The xylophone group has been reactivated again, this time with a Yr 6 student mentoring some younger musicians who presented a fabulous performance at the Yr 3 Assembly last Friday. The Rock Band continues to rehearse in preparation for a performance at the Yr 6 Farewell!

In class, our students have been doing small group activities on revising their skills of music notation and composing short pieces on xylophones together. We have had fun exploring using the crossover between drama and dance to convey a story, and P-2 students have been doing a range of whole class literature-based drama activities centred around the book "Rose Meets Mr Wintergarten" by Australian author Bob Graham.
