Welcoming Emmalee Meisels - VET Dance

Emmalee has taken on the VET Dance role at Sandringham College, whilst Prue is on maternity leave. We are excited to have Emmalee working with the students this year, and look forward to her creativity and expertise.

Emmalee Meisels, a Sandringham College alumna, has built a dynamic career in the performing arts, backed by formal dance qualifications from the Australian Dance Institute. She has shaped dance education as the Tertiary Dance Course Manager for Jason Coleman's Ministry of Dance and Patrick School of the Arts and now leads as the Education Manager at Scimm. Dance Company. As Communications Executive for Live Performance Australia, she curated major events like the nationally televised Helpmann Awards and the Centenary Awards at the Sydney Opera House.

On stage, Emmalee has performed at Moomba Parade, the AFL Grand Final, and as an F1 Grid Girl, touring as the resident dancer for the Australian National Rodeo Association (APRA), including their Rod Laver Arena final. She has shared the stage with artists like Jessica Mauboy, Anthony Callea, and The Veronicas, and her choreography has earned nominations for the Music Theatre Guild Awards, Green Room Awards, Lyrebirds, GAT, and the St Kilda Film Festival.
