Vocational Major

Mark Fernandez | Learning Specialist - VCE VM

This has been a huge month for students in VCE VM, with both year levels working hard to complete assessments while also participating in some amazing activities.

The Year 12 students had the opportunity to meet with the owners of Pippa’s Café, gaining insight into how a café operates. This was followed by a visit to Millinery Jill, where they met the owner, Jill, and learned about the beautiful art of hat-making. They also spent a day at Highett Community Centre, assisting the local community with programs such as the Music Exercise Club.

Meanwhile, the Year 11 students recently spent a day at the F1, applying their numeracy and personal development skills in an engaging and hands-on environment.

It has been a busy start to the year, with many of our students securing work placements and apprenticeships, setting them up for future success.

We look forward to continuing delivering this dynamic program in Term 2 with real world experiences.
