Where are they now?- Old Boys

Where are they now? - Mark Ironfield
What year did you graduate?
2003
Most memorable moment from Epping Boys:
Winning the Proud Shield Baseball title in 1999. We travelled all over the state. played some really strong teams and took out the title against Kadina High School at Northmead!
Your favourite subject in school and why?
Economics with Mr Jacob. Interesting subject, things I could apply in the real world immediately, great teacher and good cohort of students!
What did you do straight after school?
I took up a cadetship with KPMG (a big 4 accounting firm) whilst studying a Bachelor of Commerce- Accounting at Macquarie University.
What career have you pursued?
I took a pretty 'normal' path into accounting at KPMG, but pivoted relatively early into Risk Consulting and now into Sustainability Reporting. I now work for Sonic Healthcare, one of the world's largely healthcare diagnostics companies- it started in Top Ryde and now operates in 8 countries, one of our brands you may recognise is DHM Pathology in Sydney.
