Hakea House

As Term 3 comes to an end, Hakea would like to reflect on the highlights and achievements that have occurred.
This term our students attended ski camp, it was a great opportunity for our students to learn the fun and adventures of skiing. The event also brought students together from all different houses which was a good chance to make new friends.
Furthermore, our Hakea Legend, Mr Lloyd put on an amazing theatre production with a great turn out and unforgettable memories.
Following this, some of our Hakean students had the opportunity to travel to Japan to visit our sister school. This was a great opportunity for them to learn a new culture and their languages.
Lastly, The DHS Spring Concert was a great way to express our students' skill and talent with their artistic music work. Hakean students also expressed their creativity through our annual Art Competition, there are so many entries from our talented Hakeans. Students voted in the final week of term, and the results will be in at the start of term 4. Well done to everyone who entered!!
This term we raised an amazing fundraiser for the Southern Migrant and Refugee Centre; students were given the opportunity to donate and help raise money through purchasing a helping hand. This is an excellent charity and the SRC are very proud to have supported this.
Before we break away for Term 3, Hakea House would like to wish you a memorable holidays!
