Eucalyptus House

Hello everyone, my name is Zinat A, and I’m really grateful to be part of the SRC this year. What I enjoy most about being an SRC representative is having the chance to represent our House, listen to your ideas, and help bring positive changes to our school. It’s rewarding to work as a team and see how small actions can make a big difference.

This term, Eucalyptus SRCs has been busy with fundraising, student wellbeing, and making sure everyone feels supported. We’ve been running lunchtime stalls selling cup noodles, lollipops, and chips. The money raised goes towards Headspace, an organisation that supports young people’s mental health. Supporting wellbeing is important to us because school is not just about studying, but also about feeling safe, included, and cared for.

Here’s a quick look at what we sell:

• Cup Noodles: $3 to $7 (depending on type and size)

• Chupa Chups: $1 each

• Smith’s Chips (small packs): $1 each

The Eucalyptus House Leadership Team and I would like to extend our congratulations to all Year 12 students on completing their SACs and wish them every success as they prepare for their upcoming exams. We are also looking forward to welcoming our new Year 7 students for 2026, and we wish them the very best in their Accelerated and Enhanced Learning Program (AELP) entrance exam on 13th September 2025.

In the last week of Term 3, Cultural Celebration Day takes place with music and dance in the theatre and green space, and some other fun activities in the library, such as photos and other interactive events. It’s a chance to celebrate our diversity and enjoy performances and experiences together.

As we head into the Term 3 holidays, I’d like to wish everyone a safe and restful break. Please take the time to relax, recharge, and enjoy being with your family and friends.
