2nd Place = WOOD

3rd Place = RESERVE

4th Place = MCDONALD

House Spirit Award = MCDONALD

Another great carnival with fantastic weather with very excited students who were eager to swim in as many events as possible.

This year we had

  • 50m Freestyle, Backstroke and Breaststroke
  • 25m Freestyle for anyone who hadn’t been in the pool yet
  • FUN over and under the lane ropes across the width of the pool where all students got to swim again.
  • Staff vs House Captains Relay

Thanks to our staff swimmers- Mr Ross, Mr Mac, Mr Farmer and Mrs Jones. I did the commentating and if I so say myself it was extremely entertaining😊

Shout out to Dan who swam but didn’t bring a towel☹

Special thanks as always to Tony who helps set up and pack up and to Dani who also helped with set up.

Generally to all the staff in Year 4-6 as well as ES staff who helped the carnival run smoothly a BIG thanks😊

Congratulations Clementine

Clementine won the 11 year old girls backstroke at the Division Swimming Competition held at Oakleigh Pool. Clementine came 4th  in the breaststroke as well.

Regionals are to be held on March 29.

Congratulations and good luck Clementine

SSV TENNIS- Tuesday 16 March

Well done to our four competitors from BNPS- Tex (6B), Otto (6C), Joshua (6D) and Robbie (6D) who represented our school at the recent SSV Tennis District competition at Royal Ave Tennis Club. All four boys managed to make it through their first rounds but all knocked out in quarter finals. Great effort and lots of fun. Well done!

Year 5 and 6 Softball Incursion

Over the past few weeks we were lucky enough to have Gail from Softball Victoria come and give our year 5 and 6 students some Softball tips and coaching techniques in batting and fielding. Students were able to hit whistle balls off tees and play fun modified games related to Softball. The students enjoyed learning about how our Aussie Softball girls are now number 4 in the World and heading to Tokyo for the next Olympics.
