This term we welcomed back the Year 5’s to the kitchen with a kitchen garden twist on a classic recipe - ANZAC biscuits with Rosemary, Carrot and Chia Seeds.

 

Here are some highlights and comments from the week…….

 

“I thought the biscuits were going to taste weird but they actually tasted good. I think next time it might need more herbs.” - Chloe B
 
“We started by picking and cutting the rosemary, then we mixed all the ingredients together. We put the dough on the cooking tray and put it in the oven. Our ANZAC biscuits were very tasty and the carrot and rosemary really stood out” - Celeste and Thibault
 
“I really enjoyed making these biscuits and working together to cook them. This week I preheated the oven myself!” - Amelia
