Year 12 Book Week Cosplay Parade 2026

Our Year 12 students are invited to take part in the annual SNC Book Week Cosplay Parade! This year's Book Week theme is 'Symphony of Stories'.

The Cosplay Parade will take place at the conclusion of the College Assembly on Tuesday 25 August at 9:00am (Week 3.6). Following the parade, as you exit the ORC, please assemble quietly in the Year 7 Area for a group photo.

Your character must be from a book. The book may have been adapted into a film or television series (e.g. Peter Pan, The Lord of the Rings, Arrow or One Piece), or it may be from a film or television series that has since inspired books (e.g. Star Wars).

Prizes will be awarded in the following categories:

• Most Authentic Male Book Character

• Most Authentic Female Book Character

• Most Creative Costume

• Best Group Theme

A photo booth will be available in the BP Forum during recess and lunch, providing the perfect opportunity to take photos with your friends and create a lasting memento of the day.

Official Guidelines from Leadership:

• College dress standards apply. Costumes must not include plunging necklines, extremely short skirts or shorts, provocative or contentious attire, inappropriate props, or anything that may cause offence. If you are unsure whether your costume is appropriate, please check with Miss O'Regan or Miss Abel before the event.

• The normal College timetable will operate throughout the day. Please ensure your costume allows you to participate safely and fully in all lessons.If you wish, you may change back into your College uniform at recess. Please note that any costume makeup or special effects must also be removed at that time.
