Kindness Multiplies When Shared

Huntingtower marked Kindness Day on Friday 27 February, embracing our 2026 theme of An Understanding Heart through a range of activities that celebrated empathy, connection and appreciation within our community.

Students joined in a variety of lunchtime activities hosted by the Student Wellbeing Team, including Kindness Cookies and Kindness Keyring Making on the MYC deck. The Club also led a whole-school mentor activity where students shared anonymous kindness cards - designed and prepared by the student members - encouraging everyone to practise kindness in everyday moments.

Staff also came together for a special morning tea and began the Kindness Postcard initiative, where each staff member writes a note of encouragement or appreciation to a colleague in the coming weeks. 

Our sincere thank you to everyone whose planning, creativity and care helped bring the day to life and reminded us that even the smallest acts of kindness can create a meaningful ripple across the School community.
