VCE Theatre Studies Production

Get ready, Huntingtower —the apocalypse is coming to the drama room, and it’s got a catchy rhythm! The VCE Theatre Studies class proudly presents The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals, a high-energy, hilarious and slightly blood-splattered race against time.

The story follows Paul, an ordinary guy who just wants a quiet life — except he hates musicals. When a mysterious meteor strikes his town, the citizens of Hatchetfield begin singing, dancing and harmonising… to the death. Paul must try to survive a “musical pandemic” taking over the world, one jazz hand at a time.

Dates:  Wednesday 25 March, Thursday 26 March, Friday 27 March

Location:  VC11 (The Drama Room) - seats are extremely limited!

Time:  6pm - 8pm (with a 10 minute interval)

Tickets:  $10 for students | $15 for adults

Vibe:  Think Invasion of the Body Snatchers meets Glee, but with more chaos. Please note that this production features mature themes and comical violence and is intended for a more mature audience.
