Parents & Friends

Welcome BBQ 2026
Our school community came together on Friday 13 February for the annual Parents & Friends Welcome Barbecue, a much-loved event that warmly welcomes families back for the year ahead. It was wonderful to see parents, students and staff enjoying a relaxed evening together on the lawn, catching up with friends and making new connections across the Huntingtower community.
Throughout the evening, students kept the crowd entertained with their open mic performances, providing high-quality musical entertainment and showcasing the wonderful talent within our school.
A big thank you to the dedicated Parents & Friends team and volunteers who worked behind the scenes to organise the evening and keep food flowing smoothly. Events like these are a wonderful reminder of the strong sense of community that makes Huntingtower such a special place.
Our P&F Committee strive to deliver events and activities that appeal to our community. If you haven't completed the Welcome BBQ survey, please leave your feedback by clicking on the button below. Thank you to the families who have already provided their comments.

Your 2026 Parents & Friends Year Level Class Representatives
The School is sincerely grateful to the parent volunteers who step into this important role, representing each year level and strengthening our community. Much of their contribution happens behind the scenes - establishing and managing Year Level WhatsApp groups, organising parent and parent-child gatherings, supporting community events, and helping families stay connected throughout the year.
These roles thrive on shared involvement. If you have capacity from time to time, please consider reaching out to your Class Rep to offer assistance. Even small contributions make a meaningful difference and enrich your own connection to the HT community.
An email was sent out by your Year Level Class Rep to all parents that agreed via 'Consent to Go' earlier in the year to be added to the parents Year Level WhatsApp Group. Sometimes these emails end up in your Spam folder, so I'd recommend checking there first.
