It’s hay fever season! 

If your child suffers from hay fever, please ensure you provide an Action Plan to sickbay along with their prescribed antihistamine. This will allow staff to administer medication if needed during the school day.

On days when the pollen count is high, we recommend administering an antihistamine to your child before they come to school. You can check the daily Pollen count and Thunderstorm Asthma forecast here:  Home - Melbourne Pollen.

For other medical conditions such as asthma, allergies, or anaphylaxis, please also provide an action plan. It is recommended that all plans be reviewed yearly to ensure they remain up to date.

Additionally, a student health support plan must accompany each Action Plan. These forms have been sent home to families. If you haven’t yet completed and returned yours, please do so as soon as possible and submit it to the office.
