Bonjour dear parents and students!
Over the past couple of weeks, our students have been working hard in French and have made amazing progress. They also performed brilliantly on their assessments, and we are super proud of everything they have achieved!
Here is a snapshot of what each year level has been working on in Week 5 and Week 6:
Prep and Grade 1 students were assessed on their French knowledge over the past two weeks, via a verbal and a written assessment. We are thrilled to see their growth!
Grade 2 students learnt about furniture and prepositions and used this new vocabulary to write sentences describing the location of furniture. In Week 5, they were also assessed on their knowledge via a written assessment.
Grade 3 students learnt to count from 1 to 60. They then completed a number worksheet, with an exciting number word search. In Week 5, they were also assessed on their knowledge via a written assessment.
Grade 4 students built on their knowledge of the previous week and learnt to use prepositions of places to describe a room, and the location of its furniture. In Week 5, they were also assessed on their knowledge via a written assessment.
Grade 5 and 6 students were assessed on their knowledge via both a verbal and written assessment, and we are so happy to see their growth!
