Principal's Message

Dear Parents and Carers,

We are officially halfway through the term. Planning for 2026 is in full swing – classes, staffing, and transitions are all being planned.

Next year, we will be changing how students receive their book packs. Instead of book packs being ordered directly by the school, families will now need to go online and order and pay for their child’s book pack.

This needs to be completed by December 14, 2025.

Click Here - Paperchase Online Portal

School Access Code: BTSTRPS (access code must be entered; searching for the school will not work)

All book packs will be delivered to school and distributed to students in Term 1, 2026. Orders placed after 14th December may not arrive until late February, so we encourage families to place their orders promptly.

If you need assistance with ordering, please call us at 7002 6580.

At this stage, only 220 students have had their book packs ordered (15%). If families choose not to order through Paperchase Office National, students will not receive a book pack at school.

On Tuesday, Mrs Kloss and two of our school captains, Muzayna and Arshi, represented TRPS at the Remembrance Day Service. Remembrance Day marks the anniversary of the end of fighting in World War I in 1918. On this day, we also honour those who served in World War I and all other conflicts and peacekeeping operations since.

Upcoming Events and Activities

Please remember that the 28th November will be a common Professional Learning Day and students will not be required at school on his day. Teachers will be spending this day writing Semester 2 reports.

Big Childcare will operate on this day. Bookings required.

3. Last Day of Term 4

Please note that Term 4 will officially end on Friday, December 19th, and the last day will be a half-day of school with an early dismissal at 1:30 pm. More details on this will be provided closer to the date.

4. Student Progress and Wellbeing

At this stage of the year, students are revising what they’ve learned and preparing for end-of-year assessments. Teachers are working closely with all students to ensure they feel confident in their knowledge and skills.

We are also focusing on students' social and emotional wellbeing as they transition into the new year. If your child is feeling overwhelmed or stressed about the end—of-year transition, please encourage them to speak to their teacher, or any staff member they feel comfortable with.

5. School Uniform Reminders

As the weather warms up, all students are required to wear the correct summer uniform. Please ensure that your child’s uniform is neat and appropriate for school, and that TRPS hats are worn for outdoor activities, in line with our SunSmart policy. Please ensure all uniforms are clearly named.

6. Bike safety

It is wonderful to see so many of our students riding their bikes and scooters to school. We want to remind our families that all children should be wearing their helmets when riding their bikes & scooters. Also, bikes and scooters should be walked through the school for safety reasons.

Have a wonderful week.
