Foodbank Donation Drive - Thank You, GSC Community!

Over the past two weeks, our Student Representative Council (SRC) ran a donation drive for the local Foodbank on behalf of the GSC community, and the response from our college community was nothing short of incredible.

We were absolutely blown away by your generosity - this was the best response to a donation drive we have ever seen at Gisborne Secondary College. From students bringing in items themselves, to parents and carers dropping off donations during Parent/Teacher Interviews, our community truly came together to support those in need.

A huge thank you goes out to our SRC students for leading this wonderful initiative, and to every single student, parent, carer and staff member who contributed a donation, big or small. Your kindness and generosity will make a real difference to local families doing it tough, and it's a fantastic reflection of the caring and community-minded spirit here at GSC.

Thank you for showing our students, and each other, what giving back really looks like.
