Parents Battle Of the Bands

The music battle is back for its 7th year, and this year the Northside Parent Bands will fire up over two epic nights at Northcote’s iconic live music venue, the Northcote Social Club on the 31st July & 8th August.

This year we are excited to announce that NMPS’s own Parents Band “Rock’n’Roll Call” has been invited to compete, along with 8 other local primary schools including Northcote Primary, Brunswick South Primary, Brunswick East Primary, Westgarth Primary, Fairfield Primary, Wales Street Primary, Preston South Primary & Ivanhoe East Primary.

Beyond it promising to be a totally fun night of great music and quality entertainment, the ticket sales proceeds are donated back to expand the performing arts/music education programs and help improve facilities for participating schools. These gigs are a great opportunity to socialise and connect with other parents across various school communities as well as supporting our own school with funds raised. 

All monies are redistributed pro-rata of parents’ attendance/number of tickets sold by each school.
