ACC Team Give Their All

As many as 80 students represented the school in the 2023 St George’s ACC Athletics Team at the ACC G-Division Carnival at the State Athletics Track on Monday  4 September. The team gave it their everything, running with tenacity and balancing their field events in a very busy program.

Congratulations to Trey Corbett, Jesse Nossiter, Lia Watters and Ava Watters who all achieved top-five champion status for their age category. Overall, we placed seventh and will compete in G-Division in 2024.

Many thanks to all who supported the team and to our student officials who assisted in the organisation of the event. This year we also had our student alumni getting involved, with our 2021 and 2022 School Captains Charles Beck and Alexander Griffin leading events.

The team should feel proud of their performance on the day and the way in which they conducted themselves at the event. We look forward to building on these performances next year.

A call for students

All students are invited to join the Schools Open Water Swimming Championships - a new initiative run by Swimming WA - that will take place at Coogee Beach on 24 November. The events are 250m, 500m, 1km and 4x250m relay.
