Battle of the Bands

Musical Extravaganza

Lincoln emerges victorious

Gilkisons Dance Studio came alive on Monday, 11 September, as our talented students showcased their musical excellence in the Battle of the Bands and House Band Competition. Bands from Year 7, 8, 9, 11 and 12 rocked the stage, treating the audience to an unforgettable evening filled with original compositions and exceptional songwriting.

The standout of the night was the Battle of the Bands winner, "No Klue” (Tom Sweeney, Lauren Martin, Xavier Camacho and Jasper Brieschke) whose electrifying performance and original composition left the crowd in awe.

In the House Band Competition, Lincoln House emerged victorious. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Kurt Carrera, the local musician who adjudicated the event, and we're proud of the outstanding standard of performance and the high number of original student compositions showcased throughout the evening.

This musical extravaganza was a testament to the incredible talent within our school community. We are proud of all the students who participated and look forward to more musical brilliance in the future.

Until then, keep rocking! There is much more music occurring in Term Four.
