VCE VM Students Visit Railyard Café

Our Year 11 VCE VM class enjoyed a fantastic "hands-on" excursion to the @therailyardwangaratta . The students have been analysing future labour market data, discovering that the hospitality industry is currently a high-demand sector for new employees. They decided to see what the job is like firsthand!

The class is currently planning a pizza fundraiser for the school, so they headed down to the café to get some "pro tips" from the owner, Cameron. Not only did Cameron share his business insights, but he also opened up his kitchen, letting the students build and bake their own delicious pizzas.

Cameron has also generously offered to donate equipment and supplies to help make the students' upcoming fundraiser a success.

The pizzas were a hit, and the students returned to school inspired and ready to get cooking. We owe a huge thank you to the staff at @therailyardwangaratta  for providing such wonderful opportunity!
