Workplace: Cabinets by Webb
Blair is delighted to see his son Logan developing a strong interest in working within the family business and was more than happy to support him in gaining an early start in the industry whilst continuing his schooling.
This opportunity allows Logan to learn directly within a familiar and supportive environment while building valuable practical skills.
Logan will commence his training later this term with Murray Mallee Training, taking an exciting first step toward developing his future career.

Year level: 11
Qualification: Certificate III in Engineering
Workplace: Titan Trailers
Cooper enjoyed his work experience so much that when Joel and Matt offered him a SBAT, he was more than happy to accept the opportunity. Joel noted that Cooper’s skills truly set him apart, particularly his confidence and capability when working with a range of power tools.
Cooper will undertake his training with GOTAFE in the engineering sector, gaining valuable hands-on experience while continuing his schooling.

Year level: 11
Qualification: Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
Workplace: Wangaratta Motor Group
When James completed his work experience at Wangaratta Motor Group last year, he made a strong impression on the team through his skills, work ethic and enthusiasm for the automotive industry.
His commitment and capability made the decision an easy one for the business to take him on as a SBAT.
This term, James will commence his studies with Skill Invest, allowing him to gain valuable industry experience and a head start on his career whilst continuing to complete his Year 12 studies.

Year level: 11
Qualification: Certificate III in Agriculture
Workplace: Almond Dale Farm
After successfully completing his Certificate II in Agriculture in 2025, Riley is continuing to build on his strong foundation in the industry by progressing into a Certificate III in Agriculture.
This next step will allow him to further develop his practical skills and deepen his knowledge in the agricultural sector.
Riley will continue working on the family farm as part of his SBAT, where he is able to actively apply his learning in a real-world setting and gain valuable hands-on experience.

SBAT Name: Jedda Smith-Driscoll
Year level: 11
Qualification: Certificate III in Individual Support
Workplace: VMCH - Wangaratta
Jedda’s strong desire to work in the community services sector has seen her passion come to fruition, securing a SBAT position with VMHC, where she will be working alongside NDIS participants.
Although VMHC has not previously hosted SBAT students, Jedda’s outstanding work ethic and commitment made the decision an easy one, with the organisation eager to make the opportunity work.
Jedda will undertake her studies with The Centre in Wangaratta as she continues to develop her skills and pursue a meaningful career in community services alongside her VCE studies.
