Exciting House Name Changes at NMPS!

Last year, NMPS students took part in a fun competition to design mascots for our school houses. After a whole-school vote, four fantastic designs were chosen! Our JSRC and School Leaders have decided that we’ll start moving away from using house colours, with each house now known by its mascot name:

Red House → Kookaburras

Green House → Dragons

Blue House → Frogs

Yellow House → Geckos

This change celebrates student voice, and over time we hope it will become an important part of our school culture. Students will continue to be encouraged to wear the designated colour of their house at whole school events. 

Optional house t-shirts will also be available for students (and staff!) to purchase from early Term 2 - keep an eye out for more information soon!
