Biz -E -Kidz Update

Holidays incoming!! 

Hello families! 

Term 1 is winding up beautifully here at Biz-E-Kidz. At the Prep Program, children have been building on their craft skills throughout the term and are enjoying making intricate masks and some funny self-portraits. We have a new Chinese food play set and Prep children have been playing restaurants. 

At Seniors, Hugh in grade 4 has been building up his series of motivational dragon posters which he is generously photocopying and displaying around Biz-E-Kidz for everyone’s benefit. Well done Hugh. Thank you to Izzy A in grade 1 for her creative appreciation of Biz-E-Kidz with dominoes. 

We have over 400 children enrolled with us at Biz-E-Kidz? It is normal among school council-owned Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) services to have half their school’s children enrolled. As a school council-owned service, we are not for profit and accountable to our community in a unique and invaluable way. We have former Biz-E-Kidz who are now employees and former Biz-E-Kidz who come by to tell us about their university studies (congratulations to two from the grade 6 class of 2019 who came by on Monday). 

We have rewarding professional connections with other local school council-owned OSHC services and we are very much looking forward to our first meeting with our new 2026 Biz-E-Kidz subcommittee of the school council. 

Thank you to everyone on the school council for facilitating NMPS’ own Outside School Hours Care service, since 1977.
