It’s hard to believe we’re already at the end of term. It’s been a busy but positive start to the year, with lots happening across the school.
Our Prep students have settled in really well and are growing in confidence each week. It’s been great to see them making friends and getting used to school routines. Year 4 had a fantastic time at camp earlier in the term, with plenty of memorable moments along the way.
Students in Years 3 and 5 approached NAPLAN, and we’re proud of the effort they put in. Cross Country was another highlight this week (after many postponed events due to the Melbourne weather!), with great participation and plenty of encouragement shown by students throughout the day.
We also ran Cyber Safety sessions this term, for students in Years 3-6. Our author visits in Year 2 and Year 4 sparked a lot of interest in reading and writing, and the Year 5/6 Gala Days were a great chance for students to get involved, represent the school and show good sportsmanship.
A quick reminder to please check lost property at both campuses before the end of term, as any unclaimed items will be donated.
We’d also love to see families at our whole school assembly on Thursday morning at 9:15am in the Molesworth Street Campus gym.
We wish everyone a safe and relaxing break. Term 2 will begin on 20th April, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back then.
