Harrison is shining bright in the world of Dance. As well as performing at Crown recently, his community dance troupe came first in an U14 jazz-genre competition during the last school holidays. Harrison also competed in an improvisation jazz competition for Under 15 and 16s. Harrison has been studying Dance since 2017 – with his commitment clearly paying off! Well done, Harrison.

Micah Roscoe, Year 10

Meet a star cuber! Last weekend Micah competed in the Mount Midland Rubix Cube contest – and completed a 3 x 3 cube in 11.1 seconds.  Incredible Job!

Zara Jones, Year 10

The National History Challenge is a research-based competition, open to all Australian students who  examine Australia’s past or explore their own roots. Zara received the Silver Award at the National History Challenge State Awards Ceremony – a huge achievement at such a distinguished level. Zara chose The Gough Whitlam Government Dismissal of 1975.

"I am extremely thankful to have had the opportunity to be a part of the National History Challenge this year,’’ she says. “I enjoyed being able to complete a project where I got to choose the topic - it tested my creativity and allowed me to pursue something I’m interested in. I enjoyed having the opportunity to connect and network with other students who are interested in similar topics and I can’t wait to hopefully take part again next year."
