Bus Route Update

After nearly 12 months of backwards and forwards with Public Transport Vic (PTV), we are delighted to have received confirmation that the school bus route changes proposed by the College have now been adopted. This new route will take effect from the first day of Term 3, firstly as a ‘diversion’ and then officially from 2027 when all school bus route updates apply!
The following document shows maps with the changes, which are mostly identical to what was communicated last year:
The 1093 (Lysterfield) Bus will travel along Harold Street to Stud Road and then continue along Coleman Pde, then turning right along Lewis Road, and left onto Burwood Highway, stopping firstly at the Parkhurst Drive/Burwood Hwy stop and then continuing the existing route.
The 1086 (Kent Park) Bus will turn right from Burwood Hwy into Stud Road, then left into High Street and stop for the first time at stop 15782 (immediately around the corner) and stop 15781 (Wolf Street), giving students access to the southern end of Tyner Road via the path network, and resuming the previous route with a right turn into Wallace Road.
No changes are planned for the 1060 (Fonteyn) bus.
Students wanting to catch a bus to Knox Shopping Centre and connecting busses or to get to Wantirna South Primary School can catch the 738 Mitcham bus from the bus stop at the top of the school, which consistently has ample capacity.
A reminder that these services are operated by PTV and students are required to tap on with a Myki for all travel. Students can get a Youth myki which entitles them to free travel. See here for all the details.
