Kitchen Garden

This week the students used pumpkins, herbs and lemons from the garden to make delicious pumpkin soup, herb scones, lemon muffins (Years 3 & 4) and lemon drizzle cake (Years 4 & 5).  Scroll down to find the recipes.  I have encouraged the students to keep their favourite recipes in a book at home, so that they can refer to them later in life.  I still use recipes that I made in Year 7.

If you are wanting to purchase pumpkins in our local area I would highly recommend the pumpkins for sale on the corner of Potts Rd and Valley Rd which is only a couple of minutes drive from our school.   We also have lemons for sale at our front office.
