Music Room Update

Week 3 already... Students in the Senior School have been exploring classical music using percussion and following simple beats. Concert rehearsals are in full swing and the excitement is building - lots of creativity is flooding out amongst the classes.

Next fortnight will see students working collaboratively to create short percussion pieces with the end goal being able to play sounding as one!

Our school concert is on Tuesday 10th September, please see the flyer attached. More costume and transport/logistic information to come soon. The matinee show will see children bussed to and from the venue to perform.

All very exciting at the moment!

GREEN AND GOLD DAY

What a super day we had last Friday for our school's Green & Gold Day.

The Aussie athletes competing at the Olympic Games would've been proud of our support.

A big thank you to everyone for dressing up for the day and our Olympic Banner wall looks sensational.

So far the Australian team has performed admirably in all the sports we have participated in. The swimming has been the highlight !!!!

Talking to the children during Sport sessions, there has been plenty of Sports being watched by everyone. The favourites have been Swimming, Basketball and Gymnastics.
