As we begin each new term, attention is paid to revistiting our School Wide Expected Behaviours. At Skye Primary School there are 10 key behaviours that we believe create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
These behaviours were developed with the students to provide their voice and agency.
Each behaviour is explicitly taught, often through the use of videos and role play scenarios. Our Expected Behaviours are linked to our Class Dojo reward system. Behaviours that teachers and students feel need additional focus are agreed upon in the Morning Circle.
If you haven't yet connected to your child's Class Dojo, please contact their classroom teacher with login details.
We encourage you to ask your child the Expected Behaviour focus for the week and to discuss what that behaviour looks like not only at school but at home and in the wider community.
