Year 7 Report

Emily Beale

We have an exciting and busy couple of weeks ahead as we approach the end of Term 3, with several events taking place for our Year 7 students.

  • Our Junior School Social will be held this Wednesday, 9 September, at Brown Hill Hall from 5:00 pm to 6:45 pm. This is a fantastic opportunity for our Year 7, 8 and 9 students to spend time together and enjoy a fun evening with their peers in a supervised environment. We look forward to seeing plenty of our Year 7 students there!

  • On Thursday, 10 September, we will be holding our Parent-Teacher-Student Conferences online. These conferences provide a valuable opportunity for families, students and teachers to discuss learning progress, celebrate achievements and identify areas to focus on moving forward. We strongly encourage students to attend the conferences alongside their parent or guardian.

  • Next Monday, 14 September, our Year 7 students will participate in the Backflips Against Bullying program. This engaging presentation combines an important message about bullying, resilience and positive relationships with an entertaining and interactive performance. It is always an enjoyable experience for students and a great way to reinforce the importance of creating a safe and respectful school community.

  • Our final day of Term 3 will be Friday, 18 September, and we will be finishing the term with plenty of fun. Students will participate in our Colour Run, and we will also have a gelato van visiting the school. Please also note that students will have an early finish at 2:30 pm on this day.

Thank you for your ongoing support throughout what has been another busy and successful term. We hope all of our Year 7 students enjoy the upcoming activities and finish Term 3 on a positive note.
