Senior School  Report

It has been another busy few weeks across Senior School, with students taking part in a range of activities both in and beyond the classroom. 

Our Year 10 students headed to Melbourne for City Camp, where they built their independence and confidence while navigating the city, using public transport and working together throughout the experience. It's been so fun listening to many of the stories shared from both students and staff about the time away they had! 

Our VCE VM students have also been busy. Year 12 VCE VM students completed their Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) training, gaining a valuable qualification for future employment. Year 11 VCE VM students hosted a Father’s Day and Special Persons Breakfast, while students also ran the VCE VM Father’s Day Stall – both great opportunities to put their planning, communication and teamwork skills into practice. 

Students in Years 10–12 attended the Pat Cronin Foundation’s Violence is Never OK presentation, encouraging students to reflect on the consequences of violence, respectful relationships and the importance of looking out for others. Our Year 10 students have also finished their involvement in Live4Life for the year, continuing to build their understanding of mental health, help-seeking and supporting their peers. 

As Term 3 comes to an end, we wish all our students and families a safe and restful holiday break. For our Year 12 students, the holidays will also include practice exams, an important opportunity to prepare for the upcoming VCAA examination period. We encourage students to make the most of this preparation while also finding some time to rest and recharge before their final few weeks of school.
