"Do it for Dolly" - Lonsdale Fundraiser

On Friday the 10th of May, the Lonsdale leaders decided to raise awareness and funds for "Do It For Dolly" Day within the Monivae community. Throughout the day students helped to show school Spirit by receiving blue hearts on their faces which created a sea of blue hearts in memory of Dolly. The fundraising this cause does for many young people who suffer from the consequences of bullying is a wonderful thing.

During lunchtime, Year 12 Lonsdale students helped to make and sell blue heaven milkshakes and doughnuts from Vinnie's bakery. The food was a knockout, helping to raise over $550 dollars for Dolly’s Dream. We hope the funds raised will go towards supporting teenagers who are currently suffering. Many thanks to all the students who participated in the face painting and buying the yummy food and drinks.  To all the teachers who donated their time and supplies to help the event run smoothly, thankyou.
