Poetry Slam
On Friday, we were very lucky to have a spontaneous visit from Slam Poet, Andrew Cox, in our open lunchtime library. Andrew performed an inspiring slam poem about his heritage and identity and presented a short slam poetry workshop leaving our students in awe. Andrew was in Shepparton to host the Australian Slam Poetry Heat at our Shepparton Library. Our aspiring poets were very grateful for Andrew’s visit!

Book Club Review
Heartstopper
By Alice Oseman
About the book:
This book is about a boy, Nick who meets another boy, Charlie. They start to get along really well and a spark is formed. They are made fun of for being part of the LGBTQIA community but Nick does not stand for it!
Why I loved it:
I loved this book because it has a real story line. It is a really great love story.
